Day 01 Arrive Delhi
|
At …… Hrs- Meeting and assistance on arrival at New Delhi, our representatives welcome
and escort you by a private car to the hotel. At 1500 Hrs- Afternoon proceed for
remaining sightseeing visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of
the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian
soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; Rajghat - memorial of Mahatma Gandhi &
the Akshardham Temple,
Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02 City Tour of Delhi
|
|
At 0800 Hrs- After breakfast take sightseeing tour of historic city visiting Old
Delhi visiting the majestic Red Fort , a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the
largest mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of Taj Mahal fame, & a
Rickshaw ride past through the silver street in Chandani Chowk, later sightseeing
continues by visiting Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple, Qutab Minar, built
by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty. At 1930 Hrs - Evening you can enjoy
the Light & Sound show at Red fort in Delhi. Evening Return to the hotel for overnight
at the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 03 Delhi to Jaipur
|
|
An interesting drive conveys us to Jaipur, the rose pink capital of Rajasthan. En-route
we visit Sikandra, the burial site of Akbar the Great. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04 Jaipur
|
|
At 1000 Hrs- Today after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to Amber
Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of ride on elephant back
to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing
tour of City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani
and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum. Jantar Mantar is the
largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the
Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions
without being seen, all monuments are located in the vicinity of City Palace Complex
of Jaipur. At 1900 Hrs- Optionally at the time of dinner visit to Chokhi Dhani -
an ethnic 5 star resort serving Rajasthani & Continental cuisine with live music,
astrology, games, folk dances and music, puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic
village. Return to the hotel for overnight stay. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 05 Jaipur - Agra
|
|
Today we drive to the World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful capital
built in 1640 by the Mughal King Akbar the Great and later abandoned for lack of
water. A superb example of Mughal architecture, it stands perfectly preserved in
the desert. We also visit the artistically designed mausoleum of Salim Chisty. Overnight
stay at Hotel.

Day 06 Agra
|
|
At 0600 Hrs – Early morning witness one of most beautiful among the seven wonders
of the world: Taj Mahal with its speculative view at the time of sunrise. Taj Mahal,
the architectural modern day wonder of the world; this monument is a fine example
of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world.
Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world. At 1400 Hrs -
After relaxation visit Agra Fort, designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built
with barricaded wall of red sand stone; it houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and
numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchhi
Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Meena Bazar, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Musamman Burj where
from Taj Mahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort. So very ironically,
Emperor Sahahjahan, prisoner of his son Aurangzeb in his old age was put in a cell
from where he could gaze at the Taj Mahal at a distance, from his cell in the fort.
One should visit Oswal Emporium where they have built a Mini Taj Mahal inside their
showroom and it took 10 years for the artists to complete the mini replica of the
Taj. Overnight a Hotel.

Day 07 Agra - Khajuraho
|
|
Today we board the famous Shatabdi Express Train to Jhansi and continue by coach
to visit Orchha, an amazing medieval fortress-city located on the shores of the
Betwa River. After our visit to Orchha we proceed to Khajuraho. Here we visit the
temples built during the apogee of the Chandella dynasty between 950 and 1050 AD.
Today only 20 temples. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 08 Khajuraho
|
|
Today we visit the world famous erotic sculptures in Khajuraho that were built by
the Chandela Kings between 95 and 1050 AD. The most important ones include the Mahadev
Temple, Chitragupta, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples. Our afternoon is free to wander
in the traditional bazaars of Khajuraho. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 09 Khajuraho – Varanasi
|
|
After further sightseeing in Khajuraho we take a short flight to the holy city of
Varanasi. This afternoon we tour the oldest city of India visiting Bharat Mata Temple,
home to a large marble relief map of India, the Durga temple, and the Tulsi Manas
Mandir. Banaras Hindu Univeristy, which has an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal
Emperor Aurangazeb. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10 Varanasi
|
|
Early morning a serene experience begins as we take a sunrise cruise on the River
Ganges. One of the cardinal principles of Hinduism is the belief of the holiness
of the Ganges and every morning scores of pilgrims and priests fill the riverbanks
performing the holy dip and other rituals. This is a site that has to be seen and
experienced as it so different from anything else one may have seen anywhere else
in the world. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 11 Varanasi –Delhi Depart
|
|
Morning Flight to New Delhi. At appropriate time your will be transferred to the
international airport of New Delhi to board the flight back to home the tour ends.
